| Summary | When I, poor Malātiyūs, dwelt on the Arabic and Syriac copy and compared them to the original copy in Greek and Turkish, I found it lacking and with alterations. I rendered it close to the Greek, with the most preferable decisions. I translated it into Arabic with effort and pain, in the days when I was Bishop in the city of Aleppo in the year 1633 of Christ, which corresponds to 1043 year of the Hegira. |
