Colophon	وقد علقه بيده الفانيه حنا ولد سليمان قنعر من طايفة الروم وقد كمل في اليوم العاشر من شهر ايلول المبارك وقد كتب في مكتب الشماس زخريا الكاتب والسلام كملت مقابلته سنه 1141 مسيحيه للتجسد سبعة الاف وثلاث وتسعين لابينا ادم عليه السلام [1585]
Summary	Ḥannā, the son of Sulaymān Qanʿar, from the Melchite community wrote this with his ephemeral hand. He completed it on the tenth day of the month of blessed September, writing in the library of the deacon Zakhariyya al-Kātib. Peace. The comparison was completed in the year 1141 AD [sic] since the Incarnation. Seven thousand ninety-three since our Father Adam, peace be upon him [=1585 AD].

Notes & references	The dating of the colophon is unclear: the two dates indicated do not correspond to each other and seem improbable. The state of the manuscript suggests that 1141 AH [1728/29] could be the true date.
