Summary‘The Synod of Ancyra’ was fully and perfectly completed through God’s assistance by the hand of the poorest of God Almighty’s servants and the least of the sons of the Orthodox church, in name but not in deed, Marquṣ. [It was written] for a priest of the Melkite creed who believes in the true faith […] and believes in what those leaders and pillars of religion canonized. By this we live and by this we die, and in this we hope. This [was written] on the nineteenth of the blessed month of July (Tamūz) in the year seven thousand, one hundred and seventy-seven since Adam.

Summary‘The Holy and Blessed Councils’ was finished, as found, through God’s assistance, on the twenty-second of the blessed month of August (Āb) in the year seven thousand, one hundred and seventy-five since Adam. And this was by the hand of the poorest of God Almighty’s servants and the least of the sons of the church of God and the lowliest of her servants whose name is not worthy of mention owing to the abundance of his errors and sins, Marquṣ. [It was written] for a priest […] in protected Aleppo, who is of the Orthodox confession and who wishes of every Holiness who finds it lacking and corrects it, that God betters his circumstances in this world and in the world to come. Amen.
